FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center — follow the Division of Motor Vehicles signs to the parking lot.

Ruth and Michael Riesch of the Earthaven Museum will give a presentation, “Geology and History of Iron Mining in the Lake Superior Region.” The Rieschs have given several presentations over the years and all have been well attended.

Community members and visitors are welcome to hear this interesting presentation.

People of all ages are welcome to attend. Door prizes are drawn for at the end of the meeting.
