Birth announcements normally run on Wednesdays. To get an announcement listed in the paper, parents need to submit information to The Daily News at the office, online on The Daily News website or by email to news@ironmountaindailynews.com. Along with a photo, submission information should include: parents’ names and where they live; baby’s name, date of birth and weight; name of the hospital where the baby was born; grandparents and living great-grandparents and where they live.
