The Iron River Knights of Columbus Council 2300 recently had its second quarter Black Cow event at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Members handed out black cows — root beer floats — and cookies to 30 veterans, along with family members and staff. “It’s always a very special pleasure serving our veterans,” KC Publicity Chairman Art Aregoni said.
