IRON RIVER — A traveling brass group will make a stop on its summer performance tour at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Windsor Center stage in Iron River.
The King’s Brass is a Christian musical group consisting of three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, keyboard and percussion. They have not been to Iron River since 2018.
Formed more than four decades ago in Detroit, The King’s Brass is comprised of professional musicians from across the country who desire to use the instruments they love to lead others in praise and worship. Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, the group plays more than 150 concerts a year from coast to coast as well as international destinations.
“We are so excited to be able to bring The King’s Brass back to Iron County,” said Erika Sauter, a member of the Grace Covenant Church Worship Committee organizing the concert. “You can expect an exceptional music experience that’s entertaining and family-friendly.”
Sponsors and donations for the King’s Brass concert are appreciated, though there is no entry fee for the concert. “We don’t want cost to be an inhibitor,” Sauter said. “Come as you are, donate what you can.”
