IRON MOUNTAIN — Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson is offering a free health care presentation at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Northern Lights YMCA, 800 Crystal Lake Blvd. in Iron Mountain.

The topic will be “Identifying the Signs and Symptoms of Opioid Abuse,” by Katie Derouin, a registered nurse and ER RN unit coordinator for Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson. Attendees will learn about Narcan kits and how to use them to help prevent a fatal overdose. All attendees will receive a free Narcan kit compliments of Mi-Open. The YMCA each month plans to have a team member from MMC-Dickinson deliver a health care-focused presentation.
