Knights exemplified to Fourth Degree

Four members of the Iron River Knights of Columbus Council 2300 were exemplified to the Fourth Degree on Aug. 16 at the K of C Hall in Kingsford. The four Knights were among a total of 19 candidates. The Fourth Degree is the highest degree within the Knights of Columbus and emphasizes patriotism, service to the church and country, and upholding Catholic values of charity, unity and fraternity. From left are Sir Knights Kevin Hubbard, Bruce Callovi, the Rev. Daniel Fosu and Timothy Peruzzi. Accompanying them was Sir Knight Mark Stauber, who also is the Grand Knight of Iron River Council 2300, substituting as faithful navigator. Father Fosu is pastor of Watersmeet Immaculate Conception Parish, Iron River St. Agnes Parish and Caspian St. Cecilia Parish.
