IRON MOUNTAIN — The Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship room at First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave., between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture in Iron Mountain.

A short business meeting will be followed by an educational program and the usual informal stamp club auction. Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for auction and the club will have lots of recently acquired stamps.

The Northwoods Philatelic Society promotes the fun and fellowship of stamp collecting. The club is comprised of members from both Michigan and Wisconsin and is open to students as well as adults. Collectors range from very new to sophisticated.

Membership is free; the only requirement is the desire to learn about stamp collecting. Meetings are fun and informal and everyone is welcome.
