Applications for 49th-annual Poor Artists Sale available

HANCOCK — The application period for artist booths is open for the 49th-annual Poor Artists Sale.

The Poor Artists Sale is an annual juried holiday art fair hosted by the Copper Country Community Arts Council as a benefit for the Community Arts Center in Hancock.

The event takes place Saturday, Dec. 6, at the CLK Gymnasium in Calumet.

Artists who would like to apply for a booth space can go to www.coppercountryarts.com and click Poor Artists Sale Application. Artists may also stop during open hours to pick up a hard copy of the application. Deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The Copper Country Community Arts Center is at 126 Quincy St. in Hancock and is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
