IRON RIVER — The West Iron Wall of Fame continues to take reservations until Monday, or sooner if capacity is reached for the third annual induction banquet at Young’s Recreation Complex on Oct. 4.

There will be a social hour at 5 p.m. with dinner and program beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets can be ordered at $30 each by mailing a check or money order to Mike Berutti, athletic director, 701 Nick Baumgartner Way, Iron River, MI 49935 as soon as possible. Ticket orders should specify which inductee or team is being honored by your reservation so planners can possibly seat people together.

The 2025 Induction class includes four individuals: Elmer “Swede” Anderson, Albert Holm, Steve Contardi, and Jim Cederna. In addition, the Wall of Fame will recognize four championship teams from the past: the 1949 Stambaugh Hilltopper football team, the 1954 Iron River Redskin football team, the 1972 West Iron boys basketball team, and the 1974 West Iron football team.
