Book discussion events planned

KINGSFORD — The Christians for Racial Understanding: Community for All group will host two discussions on the 2019 best-selling book, “The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism,” by Christian historian and racial justice advocate Dr. Jemar Tisby.

The discussions will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford and from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

For both options they will discuss the first part of the book at the first session and finish at the second.
