CRYSTAL FALLS — Twenty-one members of the Crystal Fall High School Class of 1965 gathered Aug. 1 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Crystal Falls to celebrate their 60th class reunion. The 55th class reunion was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.
With 75 members, the Class of 1965 was known as the largest to ever graduate from Crystal Falls High School.
Members who were unable to attend were very much missed.
A great deal of reminiscing was done that evening, with lots of laughs and a few tears shed.
On Saturday, Aug. 2, many classmates attended a theater performance called “American Gold/That ’70s Music.”
Charlene Bendrick, chairwoman of the reunion, was praised by all in attendance. She chose the Humongous Fungus weekend for the class reunion. Classmates are looking forward to their 65th class reunion in 2030.
