Annual Holy Spirit Craft Show this weekend

The Holy Spirit School of Norway will host its 39th-annual Craft Show this weekend. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. More than a hundred tables of displays run throughout the classrooms, hallways and gymnasium of the school at 201 Saginaw St. in Norway. Items for sale will include woodcrafts; quilts; afghans; pebble, wine bottle and wire art; jams and jellies; honey; maple syrup; bakery; knitted and crocheted pieces; candles; several types of handmade jewelry; Christmas decor; and much more. Representatives from Rada knives will be on site. The kitchen will be open throughout the show serving hot beef, chicken and dressing and barbecue sandwiches, Coney dogs, french fries, nachos, popcorn, bars and beverages. Christmas cookies will also be sold by the dozen. Event coordinator Rose Gianunzio shows Catherine Menghini a selection of ribbon to customize her evergreen wreath.
