Black cows served at VA center
The Iron River Knights Of Columbus, Council 2300, recently hosted its final Black Cow event of the year at the Oscar G. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Volunteers served root beer floats (black cows), sundaes and treats to 40 veterans and staff. The Knight of Columbus said it's always a very special pleasure serving veterans. Volunteers from left are Chairman Sir Knight Tim Peruzzi, resident “Ranger” and Knight Mark Picard.
