Members of the Crystal Falls Musicale will host a Christmas Tea Scholarship Fundraiser on Dec. 6.

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls Musicale will host its annual Christmas Tea Scholarship Fundraiser at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Christ United Methodist Church.

The program will include choral selections by the Musicale Chorus and will feature select students from both the middle and senior high school bands at Forest Park. There will also be a performance by Nordic Brass, a local group comprised of retired musicians and band directors.

A bake sale will take place both before and after the music program. New this year will be a raffle, with the first prize being a Christmas-themed quilt donated by Patrice (Albarello) Deutschmann. Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10.

All attendees are invited to refreshments and cookies after the program.

The Crystal Falls Musicale uses proceeds from the tea to financially support music events for Forest Park students. In addition, a college scholarship is available for any Forest Park senior who plans to pursue a music degree, either as a major or a minor.

The ticket donation price is $5 and can be purchased from any musicale member or may also be purchased at the door.
