IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Community Chorus will present “The Sounds of Christmas” at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 1-2, in the Kingsford High School auditorium.

The chorus is directed by Principal Conductor Crystal Hogan. The DCCC Children’s Chorus and women’s ensemble will be directed by Dawn Kranz. The men’s ensemble will be under the direction of Jeremiah Garrigues-Cortelyou.

Jean Panek, Sandy Sullivan and Karen McCorkle are the piano accompanists and various instrumentalists will accompany the chorus. String trio Datura will be featured in the concert.

Tickets for the concert are a $10 donation for adults and a $5 donation for students. Tickets can be purchased from any chorus member, at The Music Tree or at the door. Cash or check should be made out to DCCC; no credit cards will be taken. Tickets should be purchased early, since there have been near-sellouts or sellouts for both performances in past years, a spokesperson for the chorus advised.

Proceeds from the concert supports chorus programs throughout the year.
