FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence Giving Tree program will start Sunday and will be distributed during that week.

Exact dates and time will be announced.

Needy children will have new toys and clothing for Christmas with the help of the community and St. Vincent de Paul.

Gifts should be returned to where the tags were taken from and should not be wrapped.

Donations of wrapping paper and batteries will be accepted as well.

Drop boxes are provided at the Great North Bank in Florence and Aurora, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Florence, the Fence Post and local churches.

Those who believe their family may be eligible and have not yet signed up can do so by picking up an application at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store or by calling 715-528-2030.
