Norway grad accepted into Albion College Academic Program of Distinction

ALBION, Mich. — Norway High School graduate Landon Amundson was invited to join Albion College’s Lisa and James Wilson Institute for Medicine.
The Wilson Institute supports and prepares students to be exemplary and altruistic physicians, dentists, veterinarians and other health care professionals. Through an innovative academic curriculum and immersive clinical, research, and community service initiatives, Wilson students become leaders in health care.
This is one of several Albion College programs offering enhanced instruction, experiential learning opportunities, and focused career preparation in pre-medical studies, public policy, business, environmental studies, social change, professional education and the liberal arts.
Amundson is a sophomore at Albion College.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Rene Miles of Iron Mountain was been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s summer dean’s list.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the dean’s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Southern New Hampshire University congratulates these students on being named to the summer 2025 President’s List.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and higher for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

ALBION, Mich. — Norway student Caitlyn Mohr is playing clarinet with Albion College’s Briton Brigade marching band. This is Mohr’s third semester with the ensemble.
Mohr is majoring in art with a minor in psychology. She is the child of Robert Huddleston of Norway.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Grace Fulfer of Niagara, Wis., was among the 430 incoming freshmen to receive scholarships from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the 2025-26 academic year, with many students receiving multiple awards.
Each award varies in amount and criteria.
The Destinations Career Academy student received the Freshman Honors Scholarship.
