NORWAY — The Norway Lions Club, together with members of the Norway LEO Club, recently presented a $2,192 donation to support Upper Peninsula Childhood Cancer initiatives.

The contribution was made possible through a series of successful fundraisers, along with the continued generosity and support of the club and community.

Throughout the year, Lions and LEOs worked side by side at various events — ranging from food booths to community activities — to raise funds dedicated to helping children and families affected by cancer. Their efforts reflect the mission of Lions Clubs International, which prioritizes service, compassion and meaningful impact.

Representatives from both clubs expressed their gratitude to the community for making the donation possible. They emphasized that supporting childhood cancer is a cause close to the hearts of Lions and LEOs alike, and the funds will assist an organization dedicated to providing care, resources and hope to families navigating challenging diagnoses.

The Norway Lions Club extends its thanks to everyone who contributed, volunteered, or supported events throughout the year. Together, the club and community continue to make a difference — one project, one fundraiser, and one act of service at a time.

Starting at $3.50/week.
