The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs hosted an appreciation party for the veterans of the Community Living Center at the Oscar G. Johnson Veteran Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Veterans were served cake and ice cream, along with candy treats. The club plans the party annually to honor and thank the veterans for their service. The party was given by from left, committee members Dorleen Uhazie and Janise Bilski, Club VA Chairman Inez Riverside. The event was also coordinated by Heather LaPalm, VA Recreation Therapy Assistant.
