Guild to have AccuQuilt cutting presentation
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Wild Rivers Quilt Guild invites all area quilters to its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the small conference room of the Florence Natural Resource Center, 5638 Forestry Drive at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Highway 101 at the west end of Florence.
Member Laurie Cwerenz will demonstrate how to use the AccuQuilt cutting system to quickly and easily cut pieces for quilts.
The guild recently acquired an electric AccuQuilt cutting system that members will be able to use at monthly open sews. The AccuQuilt fabric cutting system is easy to use, makes cutting pieces so much faster and, more importantly, accurate.
“Please join us for an evening of all things quilting,” a spokesperson said.
Guests and new members are always welcome. For more information about the Wild Rivers Quilt Guild or to contact the group, go to www.wildriversquiltguild.org.
