Yoga classes resume this week at Florence center

FLORENCE, Wis. — Yoga classes with Jodi Wadge will begin for another session on Thursday in the lower level of the Florence Resource Center.

Classes start at 5:30 p.m. for 45 minutes and will take place for four Thursdays this month, through Jan. 29.

Participants must be at least age 18 and can bring their own mat and block or they will be provided.

Wadge is an experienced, registered 200-hour yoga instructor, physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Yoga has proven results that show it can improve overall health at any age.

The collaboration is provided through the Florence County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Public Health Department.

Cost is $10 per session, which can be paid at each class. You are welcome to drop into any of the classes to participate.

The Florence County Health Department is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or by appointment Fridays on the first floor of the courthouse in Florence.
