CASPIAN — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Iron County Historical Museum, 100 Brady Ave. in Caspian.

Members should note the change in venue.

Everyone is invited to kick off their 2026 family genealogy journey and explore the museum archives.

Attendees are also welcome to bring along questions or research roadblocks. They will provide assistance, and Ancentry.com will be available.

The society will ask for input on topics they would like to cover during the monthly meetings.

Visitors are always welcome. Meetings are open to all individuals and usually take place monthly in the J. Patrick White conference room of the West Iron District Library in Iron River.
