Gardening classes to start in Marinette

MARINETTE, Wis. — Northern Lights Master Gardeners and the Marinette Senior Center are continuing their summer-long series of gardening classes called “Let’s Talk Gardening.”

The classes will be at 3 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month, starting this week. The first class will focus on sweet corn and asparagus. This series of eight classes, with the final on Oct. 7, will be designed to help gardeners throughout the entire growing season.

These classes will be open to the public and there will be no charge to attend. Gardeners of all ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.

These hour-long sessions will cover a wide variety of timely topics presented by local gardeners. Ample time will be available for open discussion to answer any questions.
