Andrew Murdoch was the guest speaker at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs March meeting. Murdoch, who was born in Northern Ireland, gave a presentation about Ireland and Scotland. He retired as a major after 20 years in the British Army. His father was the estate manager for a 15,000-acre estate of a duke and duchess. He told of his time as chief of staff at the Edinburgh Castle and members of the royal family that he has met.
