FLORENCE, Wis. — Author Todd Worple of Florence, Wis., will speak at 10 a.m. today at the Florence County Library on his memoir, “Call of the Raven: A Young Couple’s Venture into the Wilderness of Southeast Alaska.”

The book is a true story that takes readers on a journey into the untouched wilderness of southern Prince of Wales Island in southeast Alaska – a land of breathtaking beauty, where towering mountains meet the vast expanse of the North Pacific Ocean.

The community is invited to share in the trials and tribulations that changed the couple’s lives forever.
