NARFE presents special gift to VA residents

Members of the local chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees — NARFE — recently visited residents in the Community Living Center at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center. The group presented a 2026 quarter-millennial cap to each resident and served cheesecake to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Chapter 1673 NARFE members in attendance are retirees of the VAMC. From left are Dorleen Uhazie, Joanne Lindholm, Monica Fineberg, Patti Menza, Judy Sielaff, Bob Peterson, Winnie Fornetti, Kathy Jo Anderson and Renee Lindow. NARFE meets at noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month September through May, at Mike’s on Main in Norway. All federal employees are eligible to join and are welcome to attend meetings.
