Members of the local chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees — NARFE — recently visited residents in the Community Living Center at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center. The group presented a 2026 quarter-millennial cap to each resident and served cheesecake to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Chapter 1673 NARFE members in attendance are retirees of the VAMC.
