Evelyn Gathu, left, and Charlene Bendick were the speakers at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Club April meeting. Gathu read a poem she wrote about Iron Mountain-Kingsford GFWC. Bendick recited a poem she wrote about the coffee shops in the area. Then they divided the members into small groups and had them write poems. The club noted it was an unique meeting.
