IRON MOUNTAIN — Local Daisy Girl Scout troop 5118 recently took a field trip to the Iron Mountain police and fire services. The scouts learned about the different tools that are used, the different fire trucks and how to stay low during a fire.

While visiting the Iron Mountain Police Department, Det. Lt. Garth Budek gave a tour of the facilities. The girls got to hear about what the dispatchers do, see the interview rooms and also take a seat in the police car.
