NIAGARA, Wis. — The 12th-annual Niagara Knights of Columbus Jeff Champeau Memorial Duck Race will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Niagara Heights Park.

This year’s duck race is planned during the Niagara Lions annual Community picnic.

Duck costs are $5 each, six for $25, 12 for $50, 18 for $75 or 25 for $100, in addition to entry into a special $500 cash prize drawing.

Ducks can be purchased at the race or prior to the event from Bob Burton, 715-251-4714; any Niagara Knight of Columbus member; or at various Niagara establishments and the surrounding area.

Music for the day will be provided by popular local band 141 North. Food and beverages will also be available on the site.

The annual fireworks display will begin at dusk.
