Summer Ukulele Camp for Youth classes to begin
MARINETTE, Wis. — Enrollment is open for Harmony Studio’s online Summer Ukulele Camp for Youth. The camp will teach beginner students the basics of ukulele while celebrating 250 years of patriotic music. Classes are scheduled for July 1, July 8, July 15, and July 22, beginning at noon Central time.
Students will learn easy ukulele chords, easy strumming patterns, and learn to play patriotic songs in a relaxed online small group setting.
“No prior experience is needed, but spots are limited,” studio director Emily Daley said. “Ukulele is one of the best instruments to start learning music.”
Class instructor Melinda Boyle is a musician, mom to musicians and a teacher to musicians of all ages.
She has a master’s degree in worship studies and ethnomusicology specializing in world fiddle styles. As a nurturing teacher, her goal is to give students a solid foundation of holistic musicality.
Tuition investment is $99 per student. To enroll, email harmonystudio.emily@gmail.com or text/call 906-424-0326.
