GFWC hosts Girls Tea for IM and Kingsford seniors

IRON MOUNTAIN — The 92nd-annual Senior Girls Tea, hosted by the Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs, took place May 7 at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.
Eighty-five seniors from Iron Mountain and Kingsford High School were in attendance. Guest speaker Renee Strom gave a presentation on “The Importance of Communication.”
Melanie Sardina and Emily Yonke, the wives of the superintendents of Iron Mountain and Breitung Township schools, served the coffee and tea. This year a photo booth was added for the group to enjoy.
Angie DuBose and Tamara Juul served as co-chairs of the annual event.
