Joyel Brule, Mary Stolze, Lauri Oberdorfer and Linda Opsahl are members of the U.P. Nurses Honor Guard. They were at the Iron Mountain/Kingsford General Federation Women’s Clubs’ June meeting. Oberdorfer and Opsahl presented a slide show on the history of the U.P. Nurses Honor Guard. They also told of their recent trip to Washington D.C. for the Nurses Honor Guard Convention, where they witnessed nurses laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
