ESCANABA -- Integration Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Bay College Besse Center Theater in Escanaba. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Integration Ensemble, led by sitarist and guitarist Will Marsh, creates a unique musical experience that blends the ancient traditions of Hindustani classical music with contemporary world music influences. The ensemble's innovative performances celebrate cultural connection through a dynamic fusion of melodies, rhythms and musical traditions from across the globe.

Marsh studied under legendary sitar master Ustad Aashish Khan and earned his master of fine arts in world music performance from the California Institute of the Arts. Through his international performances and collaborations, Marsh has developed a reputation for creating meaningful musical experiences that bring people together across cultural boundaries.

The ensemble's diverse instrumentation -- featuring sitar, guitar, cello, saxophone and table -- creates a vibrant musical landscape that honors tradition while embracing modern artistic expression.
