MARINETTE, Wis. -- Northern Lights Master Gardeners and the Marinette Senior Center will continue its summer-long "Let's Talk Gardening" series on Wednesday at the center, 1603 Ludington St. in Marinette.
These classes take place at 3 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. The final class this year will be Wednesday, Oct. 7.
This series is designed to help gardeners throughout the entire growing season. September's class will explore: harvesting, curing, and overwinter storage of vegetables; keeping garden soil alive over winter; and a discussion, "What did I learn this year to improve my garden next year?"
Afterwards will have ample time for questions.
These classes are free and open to the public. Gardeners of all ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is not required.
