FLORENCE, Wis. -- The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the upper level of the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center in Florence.
Everyone is welcome to look around the center and/or help the club install new lighting for the mineral display.
At 6 p.m., the group will move downstairs for the featured guest speaker of the month, Jake Kacynski of Coleman Engineering. He will give a presentation on geotechnical principles of construction projects.
A regular business meeting will follow.
All meetings are open to the public, with no dues or fees. Door prizes are given and show and tell is always encouraged.
