CASPIAN -- The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian.
Members are to note the change in meeting venue.
The group will view and discuss the "Roots Run Deep" farm exhibit at the museum. The special exhibit will be on display throughout August and will conclude with "A Day on the Farm" on Saturday, Sept. 5. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring a fun-filled family day with a Farmers Market, homestead vendors, games, tours, demonstrations and more. At 3 p.m., the celebration will continue with a special reception honoring the farms and farmers of Iron County.
Members are reminded to pay dues.
Visitors are welcome.
