KINGSFORD -- The Dickinson County Community Chorus will begin rehearsals at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in preparation for the upcoming Sounds of Christmas concert.
Rehearsals run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford.
The children's chorus will begin rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, and will continue on the same nights as the adult choir.
There are no auditions to participate; however, prospective new members should possess some knowledge of choral singing.
There is no charge for membership in the chorus.
There are only 13 rehearsals, so regular attendance is required with rare exceptions for unavoidable absences.

The Sounds of Christmas concert will be presented Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in the Kingsford High School auditorium.
