IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Dickinson County Library plans to host three Caregiver Socials for the community.
They will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain; 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Solomonson Branch in Norway; and 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Felch Senior Center.
Caregivers are invited to drop in at any time during this program to have refreshments and socialize with one another. Caregivers who attend will be given a specially made tote with items to thank them for all they do.
Funds from a Molina Healthcare Grant also make it possible for librarians to visit local nursing homes to share resources and crafts with the residents and families.
