KINGSFORD -- The Michigan Parkinson Foundation will host a Community Forum Series from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time Saturday at the Marquette Charter Township Community Center.
Stephanie Wozniak from the MPF office downstate will review the services offered by the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
Dr. Grant Young, a neurologist who will be starting a movement disorders program in Traverse City soon, will be presenting "PD 101 -- Understanding Parkinson's Disease."
The event is free, and refreshments will be served. People with Parkinson's, care partners, family members and health care professionals are encouraged to attend.

The Dickinson County Parkinson Support Group will host a potluck at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford. Attendees are invited to bring a dish if they wish and join them for an informal time together.
