HANCOCK -- Artist booth applications are now being taken for the 50th-annual Poor Artists Sale, an annual juried holiday art fair hosted by the Copper Country Community Arts Council as a benefit for the Community Arts Center in Hancock.
The event will be Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw schools gymnasium in Calumet. To apply for a booth space, go to the CCCAC website at www.coppercountryarts.com and click Poor Artists Sale Application.
Artists may also stop by the arts center during open hours to pick up a hard copy of the application. Deadline to apply is 6 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The Copper Country Community Arts Center is at 126 Quincy St. in Hancock and is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
