IRON RIVER -- The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White Conference Room at the West Iron District Library in Iron River.
As hunting season approaches, they will share favorite stories -- from the one that got away to unforgettable adventures in the deer woods.
Members will also tie up a few loose ends, including updates on the West Iron County Wall of Fame inductees, and hear a reading of Carol Erickson's memories of growing up on a farm.
Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite hunting story and join the group for an afternoon of memories, history and good company.
All are welcome.
Meetings are open to all individuals and are monthly in the J. Patrick White Conference Room of the West Iron District Library.
