The Iron River Knights Of Columbus Council 2300 conducted their annual fall roadside cleanup on a beautiful first day of fall. The cleanup began at the Ice Lake-U.S. 2 intersection and ended at the Bates/Amasa-U.S. 2 intersection. The crew worked for three hours, collecting 13 bags of garbage plus a large assortment of plastic, styrofoam and cardboard. Just another project with Knights in action, keeping Iron County roadsides beautiful. Volunteers, from left, are Chairman Sir Knights Tim Peruzzi, Deacon Terry Verville, Louie Willis, Jim Baumgartner and Ralph Commenator.
