IRON RIVER -- The Community Christian Women will host a Holiday Craft Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the First Baptist Church on Selden Road in Iron River.
The event will include a variety of fun craft options that can be made and taken to use as gifts or decorations through the holiday season.
"This is the third year we've done this Craft Day," said Carla Thoune, CCW member, "and it always has been fun."
A continental breakfast will be available during the event, and each craft will cost $5 to make. If participants bring items to fill a Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox, they can make a craft of their choice free.
To RSVP for this event or to learn more, contact Peggy Smith at 906-284-0820 or Sylvia Lindwall at 906-284-3747.
More information can also be found on the CCW Facebook page. CCW exists to encourage women in their walk with God.
