CASPIAN — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. today at the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian. Members are to note the change in meeting venue. The group will view and discuss the “Roots Run Deep” farm exhibit at the museum. The special exhibit will be on display throughout August and will conclude with “A Day on the Farm” on Saturday, Sept. 5. IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library will host a Dino Egg Hunt at 5 p.m. Friday at the library in Iron Mountain. To celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Program: Unearth a Story, the library invites all ages to hunt for dinosaur eggs. The library will be transformed, as the children’s room will be blacked out with glowing eggs. Even more dino eggs — with prizes inside — will be scattered throughout the library. Raffles will take place during the event as well.
