NORWAY — The American Legion Post 145 of Norway will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 28, at the hall. Menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast, hash brown potatoes, toast, fruit salad, coffee, milk and juice. Cost is $10 per person, with ages 6 and younger eating for free. NORWAY — Grace United Methodist Church of Norway will host a free community meal from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The menu will be sloppy Joe, macaroni salad and dessert. FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center in Florence. This month’s meeting will feature guest speaker Thomas Mroz, who will present on the Champion Mine, a historic iron mine in Champion and highlight part of the Upper Peninsula’s mining history. Anyone interested in geology, mining history, environmental science and local mineral collecting is encouraged to attend. All meetings are open to the public, with no dues or fees.
