Caregiver program offered

MARQUETTE — Registration is underway for Savvy Caregiver, a nationally recognized educational training program for family members caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or memory loss and are living at home. The workshop has six weekly sessions via Zoom, each lasting two hours, and will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Thursdays, Sept. 19 through Oct. 24. Strong Bodies program starts Sept. 10 in Florence

FLORENCE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Madison Florence County Extension, Florence County Aging and Disability Resource Center and the Florence County Health Department will offer the Strong Bodies program in person at the Natural Resource Center, 5628 Forestry Drive in Florence. Strong Bodies is an exercise program for middle-aged and older adults.
