IRON MOUNTAIN — First National Bank & Trust has hired Dale Cook as a business banker at its downtown Iron Mountain location.

He will work to help businesses plan for current and future needs, including commercial loans, depository and treasury management, as well as establishing and maintaining portfolio growth goals.

Cook is an Iron Mountain native with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lake Superior State University. He previously was a commercial loan officer for Northern Initiatives, covering the central and western U.P. along with northern Wisconsin since 2012. Before that, he was a community bank manager and retail banking officer.

Cook is an active board member of the Dickinson Area Economic Development Alliance and treasurer of the Industrial Development Corporation. Additionally, he serves on Kingsford’s Police and Firemen’s Pension Fund Board.
