Four Seasons Island Resort plans reopening event June 8

THE FOUR SEASONS Island Resort on Miscauno Island in Pembine, Wis., plans to celebrate its reopening under new ownership June 8. The public is invited to tour the facilities, sample food at the three restaurants and ice cream parlor or take a free pontoon boat ride.

PEMBINE, Wis. — After being closed for several years, the Four Seasons Island Resort will have its official grand reopening June 8 under new ownership.

The resort on Miscauno Island now is owned by a group with extensive experience in the Midwest repositioning real estate assets.

It has undergone some immediate repairs and renovations, inside and out. In addition, the resort has new menus and three restaurant options — fine dining in the Diamond Room, casual dining in the Plaza Room and Boundary Waters Sports Bar & Grill.

Boundary Waters Sports Bar & Grill also features Boundary Waters Party Deck with live music.

The resort has a full day of activities planned starting at 11 a.m., which includes complimentary tours, giveaways and specials. Visitors can enjoy a Chicago-style hot dog or a brat with kraut in Boundary Waters, a shrimp cocktail mini or crab cakes in the Lounge Bar or stop by Lillie’s Ice Cream Parlor for specials.

The resort offers meeting and wedding facilities. Sample hors d’eurves will be available during tours of the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter banquet rooms.

The nine-hole golf course also will be open and the resort will offer free pontoon rides.

The resort is at N. 16800 Shoreline Drive in Pembine, about 30 minutes from Iron Mountain.

“We are extremely excited about our grand opening on June 8 to show everyone that we can offer one of the best possible recreational experiences in the Midwest,” said Jake Cline, general manager. “We’d like to sincerely thank the citizens of Pembine and the surrounding communities who have supported this resort for many years. We are fully committed to working diligently to make much-needed improvements while respecting the long and amazing history of this incredible resort.”

Four Seasons Island Resort offers all-suite lodging, dining, spa, banquet/weddings and conference space, golf and other recreational opportunities. The resort is surrounded by the Menominee River and has access to area snowmobile and ATV trails.
