Animal shelter donation

During the holiday shopping season, Erickson Jewelers at 511 S. Stephenson Ave. in downtown Iron Mountain offered a gold-dipped Milk Bone ornament for $30 as a fundraiser for Almost Home Animal Shelter in Dickinson County. Those who bought an ornament also received a $20 gift certificate for the store. The store recently presented a $2,000 donation from the fundraiser to Almost Home Animal Shelter representatives.
