NWTC offers ‘pop up’ shop site in Aurora
AURORA, Wis. — Small businesses can “pop up” in a new spot at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College-Aurora Center.
Space for a pop-up shop now is available for local entrepreneurs to rent. Individuals interested in starting or growing a business who want an alternative to selling from home can create a temporary store at the site.
“People using this space could already be selling a product, such as Pampered Chef, Watkins or Paparazzi, and this allows them to show off their products without going into someone’s home to host a party,” said Sally Miller, NWTC regional manager.
The pop-up space is 34 by 22 feet. Users will be charged by the day; longer stays can be negotiated. NWTC-Aurora is offering a discount through April.
Creating shared-use spaces such as a kitchen and the pop-up shop for new and small business owners is another way NWTC supports local businesses.
